This model has been developed by the Center for Collision Safety and Analysis at George Mason University under a contract with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The model is based on a validated model of a 2010 Toyota Yaris and a conceptual design of a small-size Automated Driving System (ADS) vehicle. The resulting generic small-size ADS vehicle model has NOT been validated against test data.
